NAME: Asuka Langley Soryu OTHER NAMES: The Second, Second Children AGE: 14 (is she hell!) APPEARANCE: Red/auburn hair, dark blue eyes, school uniform (green pinafore and white shirt), plug suit (red and black) CHARACTER SUMMATION: Born an American citizen and educated in a German university, Asuka is the product of a eugenic breeding from an elite egg and an elite sperm. She classifies herself as a 'special' person and is boastful of her 'superiority'. Her ability to pilot an EVA is impressive and she is only too happy to let the whole of NERV know about it. However, she is just as vulnerable as everyone else, attracted to Kaji and always blaming her failures on other people (particularly a certain Shinji). Deep down she misses her mother, who committed suicide when she was younger and tries to conceal her real feelings. PERSONALITY: Asuka has an anger management problem (although anyone brave enough to inform her of this disorder will suffer grievous bodily harm.) She easily gets jealous of people who receive praise and take the limelight away from her. (This is a clear cry for attention.) Deep down, she is a good person (if you can surpass the tantrums and impatience of this fiery girl!)

ENGLISH VA: Tiffany Grant (I often wondered why Asuka sounded so American when she was raised in Germany for a bit. Exactly as I imagined her to sound, but the accent seems incorrect.) FRENCH VA: (Don't know just yet, but I have heard it and I think she sounds... like an opera queen!!!) SPANISH VA: (Hmm... Do not know. Haven't even heard it.)
